VOLUNTEER WITH US

Make a lasting impact in the lives of Cuyahoga County youth

Young Military launched in 2026, and our first Garfield Heights cohort is forming now. We are looking for mentors, coaches, and skilled professionals to stand beside our cadets at every formation, practice, and service project -- adults who will show up. That's where you come in.

WHY VOLUNTEER?

Volunteering with YoungMilitary.org is more than giving your time -- it is investing in the future of your community. Our volunteers serve as mentors, drill instructors, and role models for young people who need positive adult guidance.

Whether you are a veteran looking to pass on the values of service, an educator who wants to reach youth outside the classroom, or a community member who believes in the power of mentorship -- there is a role for you.

No military experience is required. We will provide training and ongoing support for all volunteers. The only requirements are a clean background check, a commitment to youth safety, and a willingness to show up.
